The Stin Avli Experience
At Stin Avli, the island itself becomes the retreat centre.
Unlike traditional retreats where everyone stays together in one resort or hotel, our retreat unfolds across the beautiful island of Kastellorizo. Stin Avli is our main meeting place, but the harbour, crystal-clear waters, local tavernas, hidden swimming spots and village life all become part of your experience.
Each retreat is thoughtfully designed to immerse you in the island's culture, food, history and relaxed way of life, creating an experience that extends well beyond the daily activities.
Choose Your Accommodation
One of the unique aspects of a Stin Avli retreat is the freedom to choose accommodation that best suits your style, budget and travel preferences.
As Kastellorizo is a small island, everything is within easy walking distance of Stin Avli and the retreat activities. Rather than recommending one accommodation provider, we encourage guests to choose from the wonderful range of locally owned accommodation. This allows you to create your own unique island experience while supporting the local community and ensuring the benefits of tourism are shared across the island.

Home
Begin your journey from home.
Athens
Arrive in Athens and spend a couple of days exploring this historic city, its ancient sites and vibrant neighbourhoods.
Rhodes
Fly to Rhodes and enjoy an overnight stay. Wander through the UNESCO-listed Old Town, explore its medieval streets and soak up the atmosphere before continuing your journey.
Kastellorizo
Take the Blue Star ferry and travel to Kastellorizo, where our team will meet you on arrival and help you settle into your accommodation before joining us for an island orientation, afternoon mezethes and our official welcome.
Your Stin Avli Retreat
Over the next six days, your chosen retreat unfolds across the island. Whether you have joined us for a Pilates, yoga, painting or Greek cooking retreat, each experience is throughly deigned to immerse you in the island’s culture, food, history and relaxed way of life.
A Final Day on the Island
Enjoy a relaxed day to soak up the beauty of Kastellorizo before departing the following morning.
Continue Your Journey (Optional)
Many guests choose to extend their holiday with a visit to Kaş on the Turkish coast, the beautiful Greek island of Symi, or another of the Dodecanese islands before returning home.
